Martha Ivy Wilson, 93, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in Savannah.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas Paul and Nannie Smith Ivy. Mrs. Wilson was raised in Atlanta and retired from the Atlanta Housing Authority after 23 years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Forest Park and had been a member of Southside Baptist Church since moving to Savannah in 1997. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband Talmadge O'Neal Wilson. She is survived by her son, Thomas Wilson and wife Laura of Savannah; grandsons, Neal Wilson and wife Charmaine of Brunswick and Tim Wilson and wife Ashley of Savannah. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hunter, McKenzie, Timmy and Righton Wilson.
Visitation: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial: 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Forest Park, GA.
